Attention all players of Zodiac Craft!

We are outraged and disappointed to announce that on 1/5/23, a hacker managed to grief our server's spawn. This is an absolutely unacceptable act of cowardice, and we are beyond outraged by this behavior.

In light of this attack, we want to encourage all players to take a moment to check the security of their Minecraft account and consider changing their passwords. Using strong, unique passwords to protect yourself from potential attacks is important. Don't let your account become the next victim of a griefer. Please take the time to secure your account and keep yourself and your belongings safe on Zodiac Craft.

We want to extend a big thank you to the players who were online during the attack for not engaging with the hacker and for immediately reporting the problem to our staff team. Your quick actions helped us to respond quickly and mitigate the damage caused by the griefer. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time.

As a reminder, we encourage all players to join the Zodiac Craft Discord to stay up to date on all server happenings and to get the latest updates on any issues that may arise. This is a great way to stay connected with the community and stay informed on what's happening on the server. We hope to see you there!

We also want to make it known that the griefer has a YouTube channel, and we encourage all players to report the channel and its videos. We will not stand for this behavior on our server, and we need your help ensuring that this individual is held accountable for their actions. 

Please use the YouTube reporting tool to report them for harassment and bullying.

As a result of this attack, we have had to roll back the spawn to a previous backup. Unfortunately, this backup was made before the bar was remodeled, so Nova, the bounty hunter, is currently unavailable. If you have a bounty to turn in, please get in touch with an admin or owner to get paid. (this issue has been fixed)

We want to assure our players that we take security very seriously and are doing everything in our power to prevent attacks like this from happening in the future. The hole in server security that allowed the hacker access has been repaired. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused while we were offline repairing the damage and appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked to resolve the issue.

We will not stand for this kind of behavior on our server and will do everything in our power to ensure the safety and security of our players. We encourage everyone to immediately report any suspicious activity or potential threats to a staff member.
